Privacy Policy
- Our games have no accounts. We never ask for your name, email, contacts, photos or location.
- Your progress is saved on your device.
- We use Google Firebase to understand how the game is played, and ad partners to show ads. They use device identifiers such as the advertising ID.
- Rewarded ads are always optional. A banner ad may appear at the bottom of the screen.
- You can reset or delete your advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.
1. Who we are
Puzzlebee Games ("we", "us") is an independent game studio. This policy applies to the mobile games we publish on Google Play and the App Store (the "Games") and to this website. We are the controller of the data described here. Contact us at support@puzzlebeegames.com.
2. What we collect
Game progress and settings (stays on your device)
Your current level, trophies, settings (such as vibration) and the state of a level in progress are stored only on your device. If you use your device's backup feature (for example, Android backup to your Google account), this data may be included in that backup under the device provider's terms. Uninstalling the Game deletes it from the device.
Gameplay analytics
We use Google Firebase (Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Remote Config) to understand how the Games are played and to improve them. This includes:
- Game events: levels started and finished, result, moves, mistakes, time played, hints and boosters used, trophies earned, optional ad offers shown, accepted or declined, and the estimated revenue of ads shown.
- Information collected automatically by Firebase: an app instance identifier, a Firebase installation identifier, device model, operating system and version, app version, language, approximate country or region (derived from your IP address), first open and session information.
- Experiment groups: which version of a setting you received when we test changes (A/B tests).
We do not link analytics data to your name or contact details, because we do not have them. We may export analytics data to Google Cloud (BigQuery) for our own analysis.
Advertising
The Games show ads through AppLovin MAX, which works with the following ad networks: AppLovin, Google AdMob, Unity Ads, Liftoff (Vungle), Mintegral and Meta Audience Network. To deliver and measure ads, prevent fraud and, where permitted, personalize ads, these partners may collect:
- your device's advertising ID (Android advertising ID or Apple IDFA, where you allow it);
- IP address and approximate location derived from it;
- device and app information (model, OS, language, connection type, app version);
- interactions with ads (views, taps, completed videos).
Each partner processes this data under its own privacy policy (links in section 4).
Leaderboards
If you sign in to Google Play Games, your trophy scores are sent to Google and shown on leaderboards together with your Play Games profile name and avatar, under Google's terms. We do not receive your email or Google account details.
Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to send, and we use it only to answer you.
What we do not collect
No accounts, no names, no email addresses through the Games, no precise location, no contacts, photos or files, and no payment information (the Games have no in-app purchases).
3. How we use data
- To run the Games and save your progress.
- To balance difficulty and decide, on your device, when to offer an optional rewarded ad (for example, extra moves).
- To measure how the Games perform, fix problems and test improvements.
- To show and measure ads, which keep the Games free.
- To run leaderboards.
- To answer support requests and keep the Games secure and free of fraud.
We do not sell your personal data for money. Ad partners may use data for personalized advertising across apps, which some laws call "sharing" or "selling"; see section 6 for how to opt out.
4. Who we share data with
| Partner | Purpose | Privacy policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google (Firebase, Analytics, BigQuery, Play Games, AdMob) | Analytics, remote settings, leaderboards, ads | policies.google.com/privacy |
| AppLovin | Ad mediation and ads | applovin.com/privacy |
| Unity Ads | Ads | unity.com/legal/privacy-policy |
| Liftoff (Vungle) | Ads | liftoff.io/privacy-policy |
| Mintegral | Ads | mintegral.com/en/privacy |
| Meta Audience Network | Ads | facebook.com/privacy/policy |
We may also disclose data if required by law, or to protect our rights, our users or the public.
5. Legal bases (EEA, UK and Switzerland)
Before the first ad, users in these regions see a consent form (Google's User Messaging Platform). We rely on your consent for personalized ads and for storing or accessing information on your device for advertising. Without consent, partners may still show non-personalized ads. We rely on our legitimate interests for basic analytics, security and fraud prevention, and on the performance of our contract with you to provide the Games. You can withdraw consent at any time from the Game's settings, where available, or by contacting us.
6. Your choices and rights
- Advertising ID: on Android, go to Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads) to reset or delete your advertising ID. On iOS, ads tracking requires your permission and can be turned off in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- Personalized ads: deleting the advertising ID or declining consent stops ads from being personalized with it.
- Local data: uninstalling the Game deletes your progress from the device.
- Leaderboards: you can sign out of Play Games or manage your profile visibility in the Play Games app.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, to object to or restrict processing, to withdraw consent and to opt out of targeted advertising. This includes rights under the EU/UK GDPR, the Brazilian LGPD and US state laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. To exercise them, email support@puzzlebeegames.com. Because we do not know who you are, we may ask for an identifier from your device to find your data, and we will explain how to get it. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
7. How long we keep data
Data stored on your device stays there until you uninstall the Game. We keep analytics data only as long as needed for the purposes above and no longer than 26 months, except reports that are aggregated and no longer identify a device. Ad partners keep data according to their own policies. Support emails are kept while needed to handle your request.
8. International transfers
Our partners may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, transfers rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
9. Children
The Games are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use reputable providers and limit access to the data we receive. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, for significant changes, notify you in the Game or on this page.
